The Abbot
Master Chao-Hsien (MiaoYi) focuses on Chan (Zen) meditation, toward Pure Land practice.
The Master guides practitioners in the practice of the Shurangama Dharma, offering Dharma teachings and leading followers in chanting sutras, performing ceremonies, and practicing meditation to eliminate karmic obstacles and accumulate merit.
With a compassionate vow to guide all beings with a karmic affinity, the Master seeks to bring peace to their spirits and purify the surrounding environment.
The Aspiration
The Venerable performs daily Light Offerings and Sang Pūjā (Smoke Cleansing Offering), dedicating all merits to guiding those with karmic connections and to blessing and purifying the local land.
May they be free from suffering, attain peace and joy, and together realize Supreme Enlightenment (Bodhi).
