Before the monastery is completed, Fanyin Jingshe (the chapel) will serve as our temporary home for gathering, learning, and practice. All are warmly welcome to take part and join us on this path.
OUR CHAPEL
Background
Fanyin Jingshe is located within the South Downs National Park in the Sussex region of England, overlooking the English Channel and the Seven Sisters cliffs. It currently serves as a temporary venue for activities of the Mahayana Buddhism Foundation.

It was renovated in 2019 and has been open to the public for major Buddhist and Bodhisattva festivals since 2023.



Since its opening at the beginning of 2023, it has hosted more than ten various ceremonies, bringing joy to the devas and benefitting both the living and the deceased. see more past events, please click.
